Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRPC4AP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRPC4AP data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher TRPC4AP mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRPC4AP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PDAC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where TRPC4AP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
