Across TCGA patient cohorts, TRMU protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,553 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TRMU-associated genes across cancer lineages are KATNAL1, STARD9, and IL16. Each is linked with TRMU in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TRMU-to-partner and partner-to-TRMU results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, TRMU versus KATNAL1 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.36.
