Across TCGA patient cohorts, TRMU mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 250 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TRMU-associated genes across cancer lineages are ACTR3BP4, RPL39P25, and RPL5P26. Each is linked with TRMU in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TRMU-to-partner and partner-to-TRMU results are reported.
