Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM72 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRIM72 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TRIM72 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM72 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, LGG, and UCEC are the cancer types where TRIM72 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
