Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM53AP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRIM53AP data layer compared with 12 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher TRIM53AP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM53AP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, SARC, and LIHC are the cancer types where TRIM53AP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
