Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM49C RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRIM49C data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TRIM49C RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM49C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC show a favorable association.

BLCA, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TRIM49C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
