Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM49 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRIM49 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TRIM49 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM49 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where TRIM49 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
