Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM48 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRIM48 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TRIM48 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM48 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and UCEC show a favorable association.

LUSC, UCS, and PRAD are the cancer types where TRIM48 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
