Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM36-IT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRIM36-IT1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TRIM36-IT1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM36-IT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and LUAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TRIM36-IT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
