Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRHR RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRHR data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher TRHR RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRHR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and GBM show a favorable association.
SCLC, LGG, and THYM are the cancer types where TRHR RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
