Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRHR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRHR data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TRHR Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRHR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUSC, and COAD are the cancer types where TRHR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
