Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRHDE mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRHDE data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TRHDE mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRHDE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
HNSC and CCRCC are the cancer types where TRHDE mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
