Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TREX1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TREX1 data layer compared with 1 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TREX1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TREX1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and LUAD are the cancer types where TREX1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
