Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRBV5-4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRBV5-4 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher TRBV5-4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRBV5-4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

UVM, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TRBV5-4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
