Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRBV12-5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRBV12-5 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TRBV12-5 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRBV12-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where TRBV12-5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
