Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAJ8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRAJ8 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher TRAJ8 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRAJ8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and HNSC show a favorable association.
SKCM, READ, and HNSC are the cancer types where TRAJ8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
