Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAF2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRAF2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TRAF2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRAF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and LGG are the cancer types where TRAF2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
