Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TP53BP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TP53BP1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TP53BP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TP53BP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, GBM, and UCEC are the cancer types where TP53BP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
