Across TCGA patient cohorts, TP53 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 26,142 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TP53-associated genes across cancer lineages are SPATA18, AURKA, and OR7E38P. Each is linked with TP53 in more than 17 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TP53-to-partner and partner-to-TP53 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, SPATA18 grouped by TP53-low versus TP53-high in ACC.
