Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOX4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOX4 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TOX4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOX4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where TOX4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
