Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOR2A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOR2A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TOR2A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOR2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where TOR2A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
