Across TCGA patient cohorts, TOMM40 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 20 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TOMM40-associated genes across cancer lineages are GSK-3a-b_pS21_S9, Mre11, and PRAS40_pT246. Each is linked with TOMM40 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TOMM40-to-partner and partner-to-TOMM40 results are reported.
