Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOMM22 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOMM22 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TOMM22 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOMM22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC are the cancer types where TOMM22 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
