Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOMM20L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOMM20L data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher TOMM20L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOMM20L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

THCA are the cancer types where TOMM20L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
