Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOM1L2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOM1L2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TOM1L2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOM1L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where TOM1L2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
