Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOM1L2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOM1L2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TOM1L2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOM1L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where TOM1L2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
