Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOLLIP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOLLIP data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TOLLIP Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOLLIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TOLLIP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
