Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNRC6A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TNRC6A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher TNRC6A Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNRC6A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, LUSC, and SCLC are the cancer types where TNRC6A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
