Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNFSF8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TNFSF8 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TNFSF8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNFSF8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, STAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where TNFSF8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
