Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNFRSF10A RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TNFRSF10A data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher TNFRSF10A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNFRSF10A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and SKCM show a favorable association.
MESO, KIRC, and LGG are the cancer types where TNFRSF10A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
