Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNFRSF10A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TNFRSF10A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TNFRSF10A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNFRSF10A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TNFRSF10A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
