Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNFAIP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TNFAIP3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TNFAIP3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNFAIP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
LUSC, COAD, and STAD are the cancer types where TNFAIP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
