Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNFAIP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TNFAIP1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TNFAIP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNFAIP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, HNSC, and SARC are the cancer types where TNFAIP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
