Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMUB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMUB1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher TMUB1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMUB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUAD, and KICH are the cancer types where TMUB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
