Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMSB4Y Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMSB4Y data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TMSB4Y Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMSB4Y expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, COAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where TMSB4Y Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
