TMPRSS11D

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMPRSS11D RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TMPRSS11D’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where TMPRSS11D RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TMPRSS11D is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUSC, LUAD, and THCA are the cancer types where TMPRSS11D tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
