Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMLHE Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMLHE data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TMLHE Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMLHE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TMLHE Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
