Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMF1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TMF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where TMF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
