Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM97 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,160 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM97-associated genes across cancer lineages are CARD6, PECAM1, and ABI3. Each is linked with TMEM97 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM97-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM97 results are reported.
