Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM65 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM65 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TMEM65 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM65 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where TMEM65 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
