Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM63B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM63B data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TMEM63B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM63B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PDAC show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where TMEM63B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
