TMEM53

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM53 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 900 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM53-associated genes across cancer lineages are SNORD116-5, RNU6-1155P, and RNY1P1. Each is linked with TMEM53 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM53-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM53 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, SNORD116-5 grouped by TMEM53-low versus TMEM53-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMEM53→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMEM53) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
