Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM45A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM45A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TMEM45A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM45A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and SKCM are the cancer types where TMEM45A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
