TMEM40

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM40 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 358 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM40-associated genes across cancer lineages are CTBP2P9, RNU6-280P, and RNU6-923P. Each is linked with TMEM40 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM40-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM40 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, CTBP2P9 grouped by TMEM40-low versus TMEM40-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMEM40→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMEM40) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
