Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM35B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM35B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher TMEM35B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM35B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC are the cancer types where TMEM35B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
