Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM35A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM35A data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TMEM35A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM35A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, OV, and LUAD are the cancer types where TMEM35A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
