Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM30B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM30B data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TMEM30B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM30B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, KIRP, and COAD are the cancer types where TMEM30B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
