Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM270 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM270 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TMEM270 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM270 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, SCLC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TMEM270 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
