Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM255A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,727 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM255A-associated genes across cancer lineages are OR2T33, MTND2P20, and RN7SL847P. Each is linked with TMEM255A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM255A-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM255A results are reported.
