Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM254 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMEM254 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher TMEM254 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM254 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and LGG show a favorable association.
OV, ACC, and LGG are the cancer types where TMEM254 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
